Black 99' A4 Rim Ideas
Hi there, i am new on here and was wondering if you could help me out. I got a black 99 A4 1.8T and I'm looking for some new rims. Not decided on if i should get 17's or 18's and what colour to get. If you guys could help me with opinions or pictures, it would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Re: Black 99' A4 Rim Ideas
it really is amazing what a set of rims can do to a car.
i decided to go with 17" RS4 in hyper silver finish. can looks much more aggressive now. have to lower it a bot though as it sits a little too high for my liking.
on a black car i would stay with something silver. chrome is too flashy and unless you wanna go gangster stay away from black.
i have seen many with the older style rs4 and they look great.
here is a pic of mine with the new boots!

Yes, i got those ugly 7 spoke stocks right now, its a very depressing look. I really like that look of the rs4 rims. What size tires are those on the rs4 rims and did you have any rub?

my wheel set up is as follows
235/45R17 with a 45 offset. rims are flush with the body of the car. no rubbing issues at all
vgorous, hows the ride quality with the coilovers?

I wish the suspension were a little stiffer, but I got them for a really great price. It looks awesome lowered too.

Id go with some RS6 replicas or Rs4 reps (silver car above). However, with the lower profile tire on 18" rims, the ride quality is sacrificed to an extent (especially in our shitty Toronto streets). If youre ok with a bit more gap and perhaps a larger tire, then go for 17's and you wont feel every single little f*cking bump haha.
Heres how mine looks with 18" Rs6 reps wrapped in 225/40/18 Continental Sportcontact 2's
