Audi A4 1.8t 2002 shake when press gas
Hey everyone,
I have a A4 1. 8 2002 with 135k miles, currently when i start the car and press gas it shake. then it stop and drive ok like usual. it just happen when i start to press gas first time. the engine light is on 2. Autozone found code P0420... whats wrong with it?
Should i just take it to regular German car mechanic shop or Audi ?

It's probably a misfire, I had that problem in my 1.8t AND my 2.8. I changed my spark plugs, the spark plug wires and coilpack and the problem went away.

i would also check your throttle alignment. If its only when you first start the car, i would think it could be that. you should do the throttle trick.
