Congratulations!

How much did the sensor set you back?

Now, do not go crazy and not fix the rest... especially the timming belt!

Thanks

BOSCH OEM front O2 sensor : $129+ tax
Fuel filter: $ 28 (not yet installed)
Anti-seize compound: $1.75
Blood sacrifice to appease Nordic Gods: skinned knuckles, cut finger, sraped forearm
2 days of intense grief: ( don't ask)
Peace of mind from seeing CEL go out: Priceless!

Yes on the rest you got me planning the timing belt & water pump next week,
just wondering how far to go with that now, with everything apart, might as well do a minor top end overhaul. might crack open the head, clean and inspect, change if necessary valves & springs. If nothing else it will give me a real solid impression off the true condition/wear of the engine, and what to expect from it later.

I also ordered a good used turbo, new stainless manifold & flex pipe, about $400 all together. right now i'm debating if i should do a front intercooler or not while doing the timing belt. What do you think?

My plan is to swap only the turbo exhaust housing for now ( so i'll have a working wastegate) and send the spare out to get rebuilt with a K04 (or similar) compressor later- when that gets back, install the new unit but leave the good exhaust scroll/ wategate already on the car.
