lag in throttle response after replacing throttle body and middle display screen not working at all ,, do I need the vagcom system to set the values or can a regular mechanic with a mac or snap on cpu do it ? are the cheap ones online even going to work and if so which one to buy seems to be no relevant information available , just wondering if its more feasible do the work myself as the nearest euro shop is 3 hrs drive and the lag although the mechanic says it shouldn't hurt the car, i'm sure is would cause more harm than good ../ ? ive read the icu in this model is prone to failure and a lot of the misfires; could either of these be the cause of the lag or is it certain to be the throttle body adjustment that's causing this issue......answers to any of my questions or any help would be appreciated ,, thanks #frustrated lol
