need some help my car is making a noise similar to a exhaust/ exhaust gasket leak . . . but i took it to a mechanic and also a muffler guy and they said the car has no exhaust leak what so ever and the old school muffler guy checked my car while it was running with a lighter just 2 make sure he even took it for a run and then put it up on the hoist and made me drive on the hoist! magically as with most have experienced the noise stopped but i always hear it in every gear non-stop but not at idle can anyone give a suggestion

I'm assuming they checked the exhaust manifold as well? If they were doing a quick once over they might not have bothered to get up underneath there. Grab a small mirror and check the underside of the manifold for evidence of leakage.
Or.. pull it and put a new gasket in just for fun
