hi all,
getting an exhaust leak on cold start up. after engine warms up the noise seems to go away. removed air box to check the manifold and gaskets. don't see any cracks or leaks around the manifold but the turbo is covered in soot between the exhaust and intake impeller housing on the outside. looks like someone did some work to the turbo and left the lower bracket disconnected. would this cause the turbo to leak? should i start looking for a new turbo? car feels like its working ok.
