Default 2000 A4 1.8 t Turbo

Hi,

I have a 2000 turbo 1.8t, I have been having some problems with the Turbo, the engine is burning oil, because there is no leakage, and a mechanic told me that the turbo needs to be replaced because thats the issue, has anyone had this problem and if I do have to replace the turbo what should I do? I would really appreciate your help

what are your symptoms? our engines shouldnt have leaks to begin with, otherwise they cause more problems

can u put in detail how it runs etc...
