I would definitely do a boost leak test. There are many different ways to set up a tester from PVC piping to a tennis ball.

Hey all, so my check engine light came on and started misfiring like crazy last night. It seems to be ok now, but I took it to a shop and he says I need to replace my vacuum hose. I was quoted around $230. Am I being overcharged? Would this be an easy DIY project?

 

An update on this issue. Here are videos of someone with the same problem. He has not found a solution either.



Maybe someone on here knows what is going on.

 

my flex pipe whistled right around the same RPMs as yours... ~$100

 

I've killed 3 k03's, each have made that sound before they failed.
