I have a 97 A4 1.8T quattro. Just curious as to how big of a job it is to change the starter. Seems like alot of stuff is in the way. Looks like it is just 2 mounting bolts and the power and signal wire, but its getting at it that seems like it will be the big issue.

Any info or write ups would be great!

Got the starter out. Wasn't too hard, just really tight to get at it all. Would have been great if the A/C lines weren't right under it. And the starter heat shield made it a pain to get out!
