JHM supercharger on its way!

Re: JHM supercharger on its way!
damn...that's amazing. A Sprint Blue B7 S4 Avant 6MT with full 2.5" catless exhaust, LW wheels and a MASSIVE Vortech cfuge up front.
Dude, your car could be the next B6/7 in the 11s. All the components are there. If you don't run 12.29 or better, I'll be shocked. We'll have to blame the driver if so

Re: JHM supercharger on its way!
I don't think it's going to matter much. Since you have 2.5 catless (and since they know that) they'll give you a strong tune. The car is limited by the forged internals...not so much the exhaust manifold. I reckon you'll dyno 410-420 or so...and about 365 WTQ. Definitely enough to scare the 11s with a good driver.
I ran 12.9 @ 107.8 and my car might have dyno'd 300whp/290wtq...and I was full weight as far as the car goes (no missing seats or anything ricey like APR).
I don't think it's impossible to get 1 second off that with a Vortech C-fuge. Also your car ran pretty well stock when we logged it that time.
p.s. what do your wheels weigh? I need a set of winters for the RS4 but can't find anything light, that fits, and that look good. I'm going to end up buying another set of stock wheels on the classifieds soon. 19x9.0 ET29 and 27 lbs is pretty good. They're forged.

Re: JHM supercharger on its way!
After that, I'll need to baby the car for approx. 1200 kms (750 miles) to break in the stage 4 clutch which means I won't be able to properly play with the supercharger (or dyno it). It'll be rough and excruciatingly painful but once that's over and done with, I'll be able to report back

Re: JHM supercharger on its way!
I've heard that every 100lbs adds approx. 0.1 secs.
I'll be very happy if I dyno 410-420.
Yeah, let's hope Only the track will tell.
Mine (O.Z. Ultraleggera) are 19x8, not 19x9 but they weigh 20.6 lbs each. The next level up (O.Z. Ultraleggera HLT at 19x8.5) are 23lbs. Both are one-piece cast, not forged.

Re: JHM supercharger on its way!
It's a theory but it doesn't apply to all weight cars and all power levels. Anyway, even if it's accurate...one tenth is nothing.
Also I meant to say 'it depends on the non-forged internals' above referring to the S4. I said 'forged internals'. Again though, your car is limited by the ability of the internals to handle the power, and since over 450-475 is the level at which rods start bending, 410-420 is likely where JHM will keep your power. The headers guys thanks to a bit more efficiency might see 425-435 whp. It should be noted these are real power levels that will translate to performance. This blower and the tune that goes with it, are for real.
