I liked the tip when I drove it for a week. Friend and I traded cars and I had his 05 tip. I didn't think it was much slower and it was fun using the paddles.

Date/time permitting, I'll come along. Stock B6 S4 Avant. I wouldn't rely on me being there because of work (I only get my schedule about 2-3 weeks in advance). However, I was reading some discussion about interior noise of Avant vs Sedan (avant being louder).

 

Do you mind if i pop in I have A6 4.2 with custom exhaust (2.5 inch sanitized SS from cat back with Magnaflows) with the obvious tiptronic

hahahaha nice. Sure come on out. I love the fatbody 4.2 A6. RS6 fenders FTW! As I said everyone is welcome. Just wanted to focus on S4s to get a comprehensive exhaust video together for the forum's 4.2 S4 crew, but again the more the merrier.

Back to the exhaust meet - here's another update

1. determine location (still haven't done this...any thoughts on somewhere that will allow us to stand around and loiter, park 10+ cars, videotape with no street noise to interfere, and then do flybys etc? Might be a tall order.)
2. finalize date (mid to late april)
3. find someone with an HD cam and maybe an off camera microphone (still no volunteers)
4. find someone with a decibel meter (MikeH...done!)

 

can you guys believe it? It's already April 20th, and the weather is still horrendous!
