The manual for the S5 mentions that the car is supposed to come with voice command for various things like Navigation, etc.

I tried following the instructions in the manual and wasn't able to get it to work.
The buttons I pressed just reported that the button I pressed is not available.

I was optimistic that I could get this to work so I PM'd one of the members on this board with a VAG cable to see if he would help.

Long storey short.....couldn't drive to where he was because it was snowy/icy and had scheduled a service appointment for something else so was going to ask the Audi guys what they thought before I wasted his time.

The Audi guys said that the unit is not provisioned with that software because it is a cabriolet (protecting the consumers from irritation) - right.....

Anyone with a cabriolet run into this?
I'm going to finally call the generous member who offered the help (with his VAG system) and see what we can uncover.
