Not sure about changes there should be minor changes seeing how this is the 3rd year B8. I think right about now you should be able to order 2012 or maybe in 2-3 weeks. Audi should release the 2012 information possibly by end of May early June.

Should be able to order right now if the dealer has an allocation. I put in my order in the beginning of May and it just started building this week.

Not too sure about the Toronto area but I wasn't able to get the Edmonton dealer to move much in price. You can also contact companies like Transdeal.ca and they contact their preferred dealers and work out some deal. I think Transdeal got $1750 off MSRP.
Can't seem to get much discount, at least in the Alberta area, nothing like the discounts the US buyers are getting.

They have a great order book of S4s and may have a 2012 on the way in that isn't spoken for that meets your needs. THey also have the best allocations, thus can probably order you one for August.
He just ordered one for a friend at a VERY excellent price. Much better than the TransDeal price you mentioned.
