I think you have the best plan. That's the way I do my cars, and it's worked well for me. You need a couple hundred klicks to bed in the brakes and make sure the mould release is gone off the tires anyway.

And remember those tires don't work that great below +5c

I might run into you when I pick mine up right after lunch. Moonlight blue with mustang brown interior. I did a double take because at first I thought that was my car next to yours.

As for break in - I am going Motoman all the way. there is just enough time to get the engine warmed up as I head out glenmore to Hwy 8. then I am taking the looonnnnggg way home to heritage and Macleod.

now if only I can get this APR flash stuff sorted out I will be in heaven.

as for Oct meet and greet - I will most likely be in Dubai but will try and catchup with the Car club when I get back.

List of planned mods:
ECU flash, Pulley, Alu Kreuz, and definitely an ala carte menu of VAGCOM changes (still need to figure these out) but man the list is long of choices.

sounds like you've got quite the list of mod's planned....i'm gunna keep it pretty stock for now...but i'm sure the mod bug will hit at some point haha

 

The mod list is what happens when you wait for 4 months for the car.
Order date was May 24th. the last 2 weeks have been painful to say the least.

tint and 3M is going on next week. Lookin into winter rims but they're probably gunna be Audi Replica's because i heard finding other aftermarket rims that will fit isn't very easy (due to bolt pattern and center bore etc)

i would love to get a set of black rims.....those ASA's look awesome. got any pics of them on your car?
