Considering 2010 S4. What to look for?

Re: Considering 2010 S4. What to look for?
Ahhh, WELL. I wish I was still in the market for a 2010 but the 2012's seem to be a bit more improved by way of the 2010's quirks. Also, I believe the 2010 doesn't have Launch Control whereas the 2012 does.
It seems that the more I read up on the Late model S4's the more I want a 2012. Also, for the record. I Called TAPP Auto and their price to replace a Mechatronic unit vs a clutch is the same time wise but I reckon a Mechatronic unit is WAY more expensive than a clutch. Furthermore, I also asked if the double clutch ever needs to be replaced and they said, no "it should never need replacing as long as the fluids and seals are good."
So, the gamble is on the longevity of the Mechatronic unit and let's say that in a 10 year span, the Mechatronic unit fails and needs replacing that is still the the lifespan of almost 2 clutches. Some of you may argue that claim but I **DRIVE** my cars, I don't treat them like a museum piece lol.

Good luck in your purchase. I'm an audi guy for life
It should be illegal to own an S series and not "drive" it.
Cheers
