Here is a pic of the Roc-Euro Intake I installed on my S5 last evening. The Supercharger whine is great. Not at all noticeable when cruising along the hwy or on city streets. But sounds wonderful when you "walk on it"!
I believe I notice improved throttle response, it seems to want to rev up easier. It's like it's "uncorked". Anyway, cheapest mod one can do and worth it. I'll have to take it on a long road trip and see if the fuel economy is improved as people say is a result of an intake.

 

You won't notice a noticeable fuel consumption decrease. I had the same intake on my 3.0L S4. Pair up and exhaust and watch the magic.
