Default 3.0 TFSI Stage 2 : APR vs Unitronic

Hi Everyone,

I'm newbie in Audi world. A few weeks ago I've started to look into Stage 2 ECU+TCU tunes for my 2013 Audi S5 3.0T.
As I already understood there are two major companies in GTA: APR and Unitronic. Beside the datesheets on their web sites does somebody have any experience with Unitronic ?! Pfaff recommends Unitronic and they told me that " we use to carry apr, but we stopped dealing with them due to hick ups in the tunes".

Please share with me your thoughts/experience etc.

Thank you for everyone.

"we use to carry apr, but we stopped dealing with them due to hick ups in the tunes". lol lies

APR it is much better than unitronic , however unitronic it is not bad either . I had unitronic on a older tt,it was ok. I also had apr on a older gti,it was great . My friend did unitronic on his tts hate it ,couple days later got refund , went straight to apr

There is another option for the 3.0Supercharged : EPL ! The best right now for both 3.0Supercharged and 4.0T as well. Same gains like APR (or maybe a little better) , less $ and do it at home option as well. I had my 2013 s6 tuned by them (stage 2) , I am now having my sq5 stage 2 dual pulley EPL tuned as well and also my wife's q5 3.0t EPL stage 2 single pulley . Great tune - stage 2 sc pulley only 93 octans : 460hp , stage 2 dual pulley 490hp - with stock down pipes and exhaust

I would recommend finding a GIAC dealer.
far more reliabile software

I used to be one of their dealers. Excellent company that stands behind their dealers and software.
