Default 2013 S5 Winter Tire Recommendations!

I think I am finally getting my 2013 S5 in 1 week after waiting almost 21/2 monthes. Can someone tell me what they would recommend for winter tires:
1. Rim Size and brand/coating
2. Tire Size and Brand
3. Location in Greater Toronto Area that you would recommend.
4. Approximate pricing I should pay..

Any help with this will be appreciated.

look up Simply Tire in vaughan or Tires 23 in Mississauga.

Prices are more or less the same.. aim for about $1500 for replica 17" wheels and second tier tires (like Hankooks) and like 200 more for top tier tires (Blizzaks, Pilot Alpins). Then probably 1700 and up for 18".

I probably will go with the 18" as I heard that I can't use 17" due to my rotor size.. Also is there any particular finish that is better for the winter.

118" 245-40-18 is the correct size, they are much cheaper than the 19" and since they are narrower much better in the deep stuff. I'd try and locate some stock 18" A5 rims. There is always somebody selling those. I have the 18"'s on my S4 and they are perfect. I went with Yokohama Wdrive's expensive but an excellent winter performance tire. Since you are in TO I suggest a performance winter tire as you will be mainly driving in cold dry conditions. Heavy duty snow tires are better suited for Northern Ontario and the snow belt areas. Just my two cents, anyway..................
