Hi everyone,

As winter is coming, I am shopping for wheels to put my winter tires on.

A friend of mine told me that I should verify if the ESP system uses sensors inside the wheels to work properly before I buy new wheels, as he's seen a report on TV that told most consumers don't know about this and they get surprised when ESP doesn't work with the new wheels. He didn't know if this is relevant for the A3 so that's why I am asking.

I've got a 2006 2.0T with the stock 17'' wheels (Premium package).

Also, researching about this on the forums, I read about pressure sensors, but I don't know if I got that on the A3. Does someone know?

as far as i know, the 2.0s in canada don't get tire pressure sensors. american spec'd A3s do have them though.
