Hi guys,

I'm a proud owner of a 2009 A3 2.0T DSG and have recently noticed a strange noise when the car is idle. It's a sporadic noise and is usually more apparent when the car has been driving for a while but it also comes up at startup occasionally. It last probably 1-2 seconds and appears every few minutes. It seems to be originating from the front of the engine, seems to be a rattling/vibrating noise however I can't pinpoint it. The car is under warrantly and has about 16K on it. I will be taking it in to the dealership for them to diagnose but I'm just wondering if anybody else on here has come across something similar with their A3.
