If full time all wheel drive is a criteria, then Audi Quattro is better than BMW all wheel drive which I am told cuts out at 120Km
BMW 3 series is very, very nice but not a full time all wheel drive.
I would chart your priority points, then drive the model that has the required options to satisfy you.
Test drives can take away the reasons and replace them with emotional responses to buy that car.
