Hi everyone. I have an 06 A3 and i only have one key for it. I want to get another one. Just incase. is there anyone but the dealer that sells them? And do i have to get the dealer to program it?

 

every dealer should be able to help you with is . but it wont be cheep

 

Ya i am looking to get a remote but not from the dealer. Is there any other company that sell them?

 

The A3 has an immobiliser system so you will definitely have to get a dealer involved to program it. If anyone could reprogram it, it kinda defeats the point of having an immobiliser.

BTW - Quick ebay search shows lots of folks selling the key & remote.
