Thumbs up Put on my Winters

Forgive the crappy iPhone camera.

Tires are Michelin Xice Xi2. They are actually the quietest winter tires I've ever had. I took it on the highway yesterday and it sounded the same as my summers. The only way I could tell that they were on was the handling differences. So far, I'm happy with them. We'll see the first snowfall how they perform.

I froze my a$$ off the last two years waiting until then. Always ended up choosing the weekend with the worst wind (no garage).

So this year, I did it on a +5C sunday and said screw it!

Looks great!
Where did you get the wheels and tires? Is it 17" or 16"?
I was planning to get the wheel/tire set from Car Craze in Brampton. They have 17" RS4 replicas with Micheline Xice Xi2 for $1299 but I like your black rims more. What's the make of those?

Thanks!
It appears that this set is just over $1300 +Tax. Did you have to pay any duties or you've picked it up from the US?

When I ordered it was $1,261.85 with shipping.

I had them shipped to a UPS store in Ogdensburg NY and picked them up. It's about 45 mins from Ottawa. Saved a lot of brokerage/UPS dumb fees.

In the end it cost me $1500 with HST. But I'm sure they will last me 5-6 seasons. I don't drive much in the winter. Just to-from work mostly.
