Default Programing remote key

I'm on my second A3. 2006 model remote key opened ALL my doors and hatchback with one press of the key. 2007 key opens only the driver door then press again for the other doors. The dealer tells me there's a way to reprogram the key but they won't do it. Any ideas?

isnt this a VAGCOM programming issue? Ask a different dealer would be my guess, or find someone with a VAGCOM tool and try to do it yourself

Found it found it!!!
OOOO-A3: A3 CAN System Long Coding Worksheet & Instructions (for use with VAG-COM)

I am by no means am electronics expert or for that matter good with VAGCOM but I do know that this could help with the problem. If you find someone who has knowledge and the tools (VAGCOM) then this sheet might help
Scroll down - foud it under the Comfort Module Sample

good luck!

Much appreciated, now onto my local VW/Audi/Porsche custom shop.
Here's a picture of my 06 A3 - fuel line to the fuel rail came loose; a 10 cent clip not installed at assembly!
