Not sure if this helps you guys. I remember when I was first looking for this, I ended up finding it in the Audi A3 Owners Book. I don't exactly remember where, but I followed the instructions, and it worked like a charm!

So let me get this straight, your MIL is illuminated? Might not be a result of resetting anything. Did ya VAG-COM it? I know a guy that will scan your car for free ( he may charge you something, but not much, if anything at all ).
