New member here, just imported my 09 a3 2.0 quattro DSG with 8k miles from New York back to New Brunswick. Saved a little $$ and had a fun road trip back. Bought the car with auto, premium and cold weather pkgs, as a dealer demonstrator for $26900 USD. Wanted the awd and couldn't find a preowned one in Canada. Love the car!

For any future importers, the only hiccup was that the factory daytime running lights on the U.S. 09 model have a switch to allow a driver to turn the DRL's off. The inspector for RIV at Cdn Tire told me that he was supposed to fail the car for that, as DRL's in Canada are supposed to be permanent, but he took pity and let it through. If a modification was needed, I don't know how complicated that would have been, but definitely a hassle.

you can get your car reprogrammed to canadian specs and have DRLs running.

Hi Rick : I am a new 1st time audi owner and have just bouught a 2010 A3 in Chicago.
Premium plus with Led DRL's. Very impressed with this car!
I took it ti the dealer here in Halifax who says he does not know how to reprogram DRL's.

Do you know how to do this ?

Any help greatly appreciated
