I go to Germany 3-4 times a year on business and my favourite car to rent is the Audi A3. As diesels are so popular over there, the rentals are usually diesels also. I have to say, I'm very impressed with the 2.0 TDI, it pushes the A3 along very nicely, the car is a blast to drive, which is why I rent it all the time. I've had it up to about 220 KPH on the autobaun, and it cruises beautifully at 160-180. I rented an A4 before, also with TDI, but it feels big and heavy compared to the A3.

The A3 pictured has an S-line package and is a 6 speed. Why the heck don't they offer this configuration here in Canada?? I would think it would be a very popular package.
