07 A3 Won't start from Battery
Hi Guys,
Maybe someone has some ideas what I should do.
My A3 won't start from a battery i tried 3 different batteries that I know work and nothing. The car just makes clicking sounds. The battery is in the trunk.
But when I use cables and connect it to another car in the front it starts.
I tried doing the same thing but connecting the cables directly to the battery in the back and still nothing wont start.
Thanks !!!

I think its the Battery overload Protection Trip Switch. Anyone know how to check one if it still works ??
It says trip witch which would indicate it shouldn't burn out since it would just trip. But I can't seem to figure out how to reset it. Its just a Little black box it seems.
I've seen them in an A8 and it has a big yellow button that you simply press to reset it if it trips. But here I don't see anything.

Seems its a little misleading with the whole trip part. Turns out the whole unit needs to be replaced its in the trunk with three fuses. Replaced it and everything is good once again.
Only one last thing left the hood says its open but its closed. Going to see if i can maybe reposition the hood latch maybe it will work otherwise 75 bucks at the dealer for a new one with the sensor.
