Talking Looking for change!

I love my Audi!!! <--loves it, loves it, loves it!

However, I am looking to upgrade it!!
-My head lights have fogged up <--no clue how to fix it w/o buying new ones?
-Looking at lowering it <--what brand should I look into?
-Looking to upgrade the sounds system, but not many want to mess with an audi?

What upgrades has everyone else done? I know mine is a beauty, but looking to give her a face lift!

Bilstein or Koni suspenion all the way, depends on the drop your looking for with springs. I like the neuspeed sport springs because they are only a 1.5 drop in the front. I live the in the mountains.

Eibach, HR or Neuspeed, they are all really good.

hi there,
you can order headlights on a few different web sites, but the stock ones are pricey. Ebay also has a few different style lights for our cars, if you go this route i would suggest re sealing the lights before using them, and you may even want to put h.i.d. in it... Having said all of that, there is a headlight cleaning kit, if the fogging you are talking about is the actual lense... if your "fogging" issue is actual fog in the head light (condensation), you may want to take it out dry it with heat gun, or oven or something and then re seal it.

As for Performance mods:

Koni coil overs-(if you wish to dish out close to 2 grand, go with the bilstein pss10)
- if you dont want to play around with adjustments etc. i would suggest checking out cup kits (eibach, koni, bilstein,h&r), the only down side to that is you dont get to set your own height.

Hotchkis/Apr anti sway bars
K&N Intake - love it, would consider forge twintake
Forge Short Shifter - love it
BSH Oil Catch Can - necessary for this car, picks up tons of crap
Billyboat/Apr Turbo Back Exhaust
Revo Tune

If you want it to sound good, u can get a spacer for your d/v, the intake lets off a nice sound, and obv the exhaust

As for looks, There are a lot of grills on the market pick one up. tints, rims, skirt kits, etc.

I would look around the a3/mkv forums for parts before you go out buying brand new.

Audio- ok, so there are a few places that will offer to work on your car and tell you all kind of bs. 1st off, the harness for aftermarket stereo doesnt work, you have to move a few of the pins, not hard. 2nd you need a couple pac modules if you want steeringwheel controls, i think the pac-can you need regardless(dont know, i needed both) check ebay of online, you can easily save $20 each module. Once the deck is in, its the same as any other car. speakers where speakers go, sub... some ppl just put generic boxes, the is a hideaway box design out there for a 10" personally ive been slowly working on a custom box. i have everything alpine type r, but thats just my personal preference. run 2 amps, 1 for the speakers, 1 for the subs, or a nice 5 channel amp.
