Hi,

I am trying to find more information online and on Marangoni Metero tires but not having much luck. hope you experts can help me out.

My Audi dealer is offering snow tire package for $2278 plus tax, this includes the first installation, mounting and balancing.:
- Wheel Model : AD80 A18" Alloy- Tire Model and size: Marangoni Meteo HP SUV, 235/60/18 107V XLHas anyone used this? Should i consider this package?

I compared the Audi Dealer packages with after market shops.

The Meteo HP is supposedly the most popular winter tire in Europe but I had a friend with a 328xi that cannot get any grip with these tires and he traded them in for the Pirellis

I looked at the packages from Audi Uptown - while the maragoni package seems cheaper, but if you're going to get a replica wheel then might as well get it from an aftermarket place.

I ended up going to Braidan Tire (markham rd & castlemore) and paid $2000 taxes in for 18x8 Audi A8 reps with 225/45R18 Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3. The wheels were $150ea and tire about $300. if my package was with the Meteo HP then it would be $100 less per tire, about $400 savings.

From the Audi dealer package, it looks like they're over charging you because neither the audi replica wheels nor Meteo HP tires should cost that much. My tire size is similar to yours and I have the most expensive winter tire so definitely you should shop around.

check out this article if you have not made your decision yet. We use Marangoni at our dealer, have had extremely positive responses all around.
