Default Navigation database

Hi,

I just imported a 2007 Q7 S line from California. Got a good deal, and importing was actually a breeze.
Anyway, I'm wondering about upgrading the database, which is missing new streets and some schools, etc. The current database, I believe is the original one from it's in service date of Nov 06.
Is upgrading the Nav database easy or cheap, or neither? Has anyone done this?
Thanks,

Tyler

Hi Tyler: I will be couple of hundred dollars at least. Call Audi Canada, find out who the map provider is I can guess but I don't want to. You should be able to download the updates easily and paying online and either putting in a DVD and uploading to the on board hard drive (if you have one) or use SD slot and upgrade that way (if you have one).

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the replies.
I will try to do the download option and see if that works out. Otherwise I found ver. 10 from Navteq ( although I can't figure out what version I have now because the numbering system on the Navteq site doesn't correspond to the version info that the MMI spits out)
