OK, start at the beginning. Since this is alt.autos.classic-trucks,
what type of truck is it, and is it 4x4 or not

Does this collar fit on the transmission, or the transfer case?

Did you try glue? I've found that JB Weld works well on problems like
this.

As compared to the transmission or transfer case? What kind of
transmission was it? Again, was it 4x4 or two wheel drive?

Not much luck with your spell checker, either, I see.

What about a Ford truck? Ford is the only one not filing for
protection, so they should be a good choice, right?

Ford, Chrysler or GM? be clear. Remember, this is
alt.autos.clasic-trucks, so how old is the truck? Remember, if it is a
classic, most manufacturers won't give a lot of customer service.

Why not just replace the transmission?

Ooh, oooh, what did you call them?

Oh, I thought it was because you could not drive your truck to the
corner phone booth. Silly me.

It's a classic, for fircking sakes... Don't expect miricles. They
probably got that other stuff 40 years ago, so of course they didn't
keep a record. After all, this is alt.autos.classic-trucks!

There are not many classic trucks that are still in warranty. In fact,
I'd guess the number is right at zero.

I'd buy a Ford truck, perhaps an early 200x year. Then sell your
classic truck on eBay, or Craig's list.

Well, if you would not keep them in your classic truck, you would not
have this problem.

Guardian PetSafe Radio Systems Corp Training Collars - Are They Junk???
We've been having problems with the Guardian Underground Fence System since
day one of install.
The first collar we purchased came with the system. The collar cap did not
stay on. The company sent
us a new cap but this did not fix the problem. The collar itself was bad.
We have not had any luck with this manufacture and in our opinion this
system is junk. We would never
suggest buying an over-the-counter system such as the Radio Systems Corp
PG-1010.
We also had bad experiences with their customer service. We've been waiting
on a replacement collar for months
and finally decided to call the company. We didn't do so earlier because we
simply went out and bought another
collar to tide us over until the new collar arrived. We called Radio
Systems Corp and they had no record that they
sent us a cap, nor any record of us emailing them a copy of our receipt, as
they requested us to do so, to replace
the collar. We called again and now they are saying that the collar is out
of warranty and a repair charge was $40.
We can simply go to the store and pick up another collar for less than that
and prevent all this agrivation.
I truly do recommend another type of wireless pet containment system for
your dogs.
Sincerely,
Dog Owner

It certainly seems that way. Couldn't you find any other non-germane groups
to cross post to?
