noob looking for advice from Audi Experts
Hi all,
I currently drive a 2012 Jetta 2.5 with zero options except that its automatic. I'm in the market to get an Audi A3, looking at 2012 - 2013 but prefer the 2013. I'm personally looking for a TDI with every option that was available including Navi.
I found one, but its from the USA priced at 33K with 35K. I'm sceptical about buying a car from the states, well largly due to the cosmetics i.e MPH and F instead of KPH and Celcius. What are your thoughts?
Also, why is it so difficult finding an A3 with Navi...none seem to be in the market. I'm also looking at the 2.0 as it does have the Quattro option which attracts me. However, to keep the value of the car I'm looking at the TDI.
I'm probably all over the place. But any input would help. Thanks.
(Just found this forum so I'm searching as well)

Re: noob looking for advice from Audi Experts
Navi was $3400 Special Order Option in the 2012 A3 and $2400 in 2013 A3. Very few people could justify inflating the vehicle price by ~10% just for Navi, hence why 99% of the 2013 and older A3's do not have it. Not to mention it used a dated technology.
If you must have it, your best option is to buy a used OEM Navi Kit online (Kijiji or eBay) after you find your car. Should be under $1K and fairly simple install.
Btw, I have a 2012 CPO A3 TDI which just came in with 38000kms, silver, Progressiv if you are interested.
Cheers,
Paul
