Key Fob & Maintenance Indicator
Does anyone know how to reprogram the key fob? My key still works but the keyless entry doesn't. pretty annoying.
Also anyone know how to reset the maintneance indicator. i've changed the oil in my car but haven't reset the indicator for like 20K. hahaha

Re: Key Fob & Maintenance Indicator
I just did it, I googled and found a post about it on another Audi forum. However, it's so easy, I won't need to google it again.
Here's how to do it.
1. With a key that works (not the one you want to program), insert it into ignition and turn to on position - you don't need to start the car.
2. Close the door - roll the driver's window down - just in case. With another key, lock the door manually by turning the key clockwise in the driver's door lock.
3. Press the unlock button once on the remote you want to program - the lights will flash; wait 10 seconds; press unlock again and your door should unlock.
Once this is done, turn off the key in the ignition and remove it and test the newly programmed key fob.
Voila!

Re: Key Fob & Maintenance Indicator
I have an '08 A3. You just go into the computer menu under setup and reset the mileage for service. I haven't done it but It's in my owners manual. If you can't find the info I'll dig it out and post it.
