Ziex ZE912 Review
 

My overall experience with Falken Ziex ZE912 was a fairly positive one, but overall there are better tires on the market for a better price.

The dry handling is very good, with quick warm up times. These tires grip really well when the road is warm and clean.

The wet handling is average but even with Quattro I was able to swing the rear end out during hard cornering.

The snow/ice traction is poor. Even with light snow I was sliding all over the place. I would recommend running winter tires instead of using these all year round, even in mild winters in Vancouver.

The lifespan of these tires was a bit lower than I expected as they lasted about 60,000km before I needed to replace them, but given my very aggressive driving style and slightly higher inflation pressure I knew that I can't make tires last.

Overall I would rate these tires as good but I would recommend passing on them unless you can get them for a wholesale price.

By the way, this was on my A6 with 205/50VR-16 on factory wheels.
