$1621.96 US which included GST, Duty, Prov Tire Fee, Brokerage Fee, and Shipping

$1713.68 in Canadian Dollars
I was going to get the exact winter tires and rims from tirerack but I figured I'd get it locally for almost the same price and the price include installation/mounting.

I paid $960 with taxes so with the $60 rebate, it'll be $900 even. Here is the link for the rebate---> Link

Overall, the price came out to $1740 CAD with installation/mounting included.

Thanks Warcity for the local dealer recommendation.
Hey, thanks for info, good to know, I'll submit.

Quick question Frozo, rebate calls for original invoice to be mailed. Did you send them original or copy? I would like to keep original for any warranty purposes.....

I sent them copy. To tell you the truth, the original and copy are identical except the local dealer initialized his name in blue where the total was.

For those who plan on buying Pirelli winter tires in Canada, there is an up to $50 rebate.

Frozo you get the benefit of being in GTA it seems as I just couldn't find any in Calgary for the same price. Are you still planning to get the Pirelli's? They roll around my basement with amazing grip on carpet if that helps

I got the Yokohama Geolander I/T G072. The other reason I bought local is because they install and mount for free. When you buy from Tirerack, you have to mount it yourself or have Audi dealership do it for $60 (plus hst). I have no problem mounting 15" wheels at home but I figure the 18" would be too heavy for my back......at least for the initial install.

The Pirelli would have cost an additional $100 CAD if I bought local as compared to Tirerack. The reason I did not get the Pirelli is because it perform better on Highway than City driving and we'll be doing mostly city driving. On the other hand, the Yokohama Geolander I/T G072 performs better on city than highway. At least that is what the local dealer indicated.

I also found this on apa website on different winter tire rating for SUV.

Anyone, buy stuff from achtuning? The Hartmann wheels are real nice! Also, any thoughts on getting 19 inch winters-the sline tires make it difficult to shrink in size-thinking I'll be able to plough through anything with the quatrro anyways...
