winter tires for A4
Can someone help me here. I checked out the forum on tires and everyone is talking about the 225/50-17 winter tires as a preferred size that will fit on existing OE rims from the dealer. My A4 came from the dealer with all season radials with the following size
245/45-17.........does this size have the same rim as the 225/50-17, with the exception that mine are all season radials vs. the winter tire? Help please! :( |
Re: winter tires for A4
The 225/50-17 will fit on your rims, the only real difference will be tire width, your all season 245/45-17 will be wider than the 225's but should be close to the same overall diameter.

Re: winter tires for A4
+1 Yes, since your original equipment came with a wheel diameter of 17", the 225/50-17 would be the recommended tire specifications for your 2012 Audi.
