Cleary this has generated so much interest, I thought I'd provide an update. Lol.

Saw the rims today. Unfortunately, the guy's nephew had taken them out of their box and stored them in a garage down the street. So, instead of brand-new in the box rims, they were dusty, greasy rims. I noticed a chip on the outer lip as well. Told him I'm certainly not paying full price, if I'm even interested at all. He is going to clean them up and get back to me. The chip probably wouldn't be seen with the tire on or could be fixed, but I'd want a big discount.
