Refinishing stock rims?

Getting my 2011 S4 in a few days, it is black on black with these 19" rims (pulled the image from Google)...

Looking to potentially have them refinished in gun metal grey as I'm not a fan of the bright silver look. Probably do that once I put winter tires on (well, once I select those as well!).

Has anyone used Carcones up in Richmond Hill for this, or any other wheel refinisher that they'd recco?

Thanks!

I haven't used them, but I have heard they are good. Expensive though. Personally I wouldn't refinish brand new wheels, I would explore selling or trading first.

You're right, think it was $140 per wheel, and the gunmetal grey they had in my opinion looked pretty bad.

Won't be refinishing them. Plus, not sure I want gun metal on the black car the more I think of it as I'm starting to like a bit of contrast.

My winter wheels in bright silver look pretty decent.

My 2 cents: Gunmetal on a black car looks good, it's black wheels on black car that looks like poo. Silver looks great on a black car IF the wheels are clean....I also debated repainting/getting gunmetal wheels simply b/c of the ridiculous amounts of brake dust that gets caked onto my silver wheels, but in the end I've decided to deal with regular cleaning...
