Default OK to replace 1 front tire?

I recently had a flat and needed to replace the front-right tire on my 2006 A6. Is it OK to just replace the 1 tire or should I replace both front tires (the other front tire has about 30,000km on it). I'm concerned that having 2 front tires with different treads will impact the quattro.

Any suggestions?

Tirerack's take on the matter. They claim at the bottom of the page that Audi states no more than 4/32" difference between the tires.
