Question Audi a4 b8 with A5 s-line rims

Good day everyone,

I just ordered myself a 2012 moonsoon grey audi a4 premium. Therefore, as a first time audi owner this is officially my first post! I cant wait to have this car but there is only one thing that prevents me from being overly excited about my new car: the rims. I happen to have a friend that would sell me his A5 s-line Rims (Y-spoke pattern) for cheap but they are 19 inch wheels and I dont know if they will fit and if they fit, if my car will look like a jacked up truck.

Also, since It is on lease (because of taxable benefits related to my work), I cant really modify the suspension. Should I get them anyway ?

thx

is your car sport package? If so, it'll look great. If not, it will look...like this. That's my B8 A4 Avant on 19" VMR708 (19x8.5, ET38, 245.35.19) on stock A4 rideheight. A.K.A. monster truck. It's really not that bad on a wagon. Can't speak for a sedan.

A5 has the 66mm bore for the larger hub. You may need spacers to correct the bore. Just keep the outside diameter of the tire the same and the speedo will be accurate.

I was thinking about doing exaclty the same, and also concerned about ride height appearances. My B8 A4 has the stock ride height. How can I acheive the same height as the a4 S-line/sport package? How much lower is the ride height? Can I just buy the springs from the sport package from audi and have them installed? Any thought?

Thanks in advance
