I have a bunch of ancient 5000s and a mess of misc parts being used for toy projects. Framed in that, you can imagine why I don't walk into the dealership and pay $1,000 for a part that is really worth $100 new, $50 used and is going on a $1000 car!

Anyone in the Audi world of Western Canada have a lot of '80s and '90s part outs in their yard?

BTW: right now DESPARATE for a 228mm flywheel for inline 5 (2.5TDI going into Vanagon Syncro Westfalia).

I always need that one weird part that isn't laying around in my yard at the time.
