TC or transmission repairs?
TC is hardly reparable by ordinary means. Not worthy as the labor for replacement is $$$.

What are you experiencing?

Codes?

Re: Transmission repair in Calgary?

When I go from from P to D, there is a good pause. I had the filter & fluid changed... no change.

In fixing something else unrelated recently, a transmission fault came up. Torque Converter application off etc. I cleared it, and so far it has not come back.

I called one of the tranmission places in town, and he knew all about the error - apparantly seals fail in the tc, and as a result the tranmission pauses / misbehaves etc.

The TCU watches the input power, and output power. They are not matching, so the TCU throws codes, turns off applications etc.

The guy at the tranmission place, said its likely the seals need to be replaced - upto $6K which is just not going to happen.

Reading around on the internet, some people say they fixed the problem by adding more fluid. Just trying to get an idea, what some tranmission experts say.

Who changed the fluid - how?

What was the code? What were the conditions the code came up?

Which place?

What do you mean "applications "

Any specifics -labor, parts?

Have you check the fluid level?
