Can't seem to get homelink to open garage door. Went through instructions several times but still doesn' t work. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Yeah there is a rolling code...have you tried that?

By pressing the learn button on the garage door opener then going back inside the car and pressing the programmed button!

I can't remember exactly how I got mine to work, but I do remember that it was actually a 2-step process:

1) get the homelink system to "learn" from another remote that already works for your garage (instructions for this are in the manual); and then

2) program the garage for the homelink opener (as 1move instructed above).

Absolutely. If I remember correctly, all you have to do is press & hold 1st and 3rd button @ the same time for three or so seconds.

Correct! But its longer then 3 seconds! the light starts as a solid I belive then the light flashes rapidly once it is erased!
