05 A4 Avant. Rear hatch doesn't close properly.

Hi, any tips on how to fix this issue? I have to repeatedly slam the hatch to get it close. Sometimes it doesn't latch at all and sometimes it latches but not completely. There is nothing in the way that is preventing it from closing.
