Good afternoon all, hoping I can get some info. Unfortunately I am dealing with a cracking issue of my headlights, cracking has occurred top of lamps under hood and under plastic guard is my understanding although dealer Mark Motors Ottawa is shutting me down and Audi Canada is shutting me down with information and explanations. I have cracking in the same spot of both lamps but no other damage to vehicle, no bumper no light etc. Vehicle has not been in an accident. Mark Motors examined came back and said "user caused", I challenged that as I have not been in any accidents and there is no other damage to the body. I have read several threads here although nothing definitively like mine, the passenger side light has stopped working all together, dealer says because condensation has fried something. The work order says: Line C requires to be repaired to fix bulb issues - I have had a secondary shop that specializes in VW/Audi and he is not convinced of their diag. Mark Motors wants to charge $7000 for full replacement of lights which is what they say needs to be done. The other mechanic I took it to, to fix something else fiddled around with the light, swapped it (worked fine), put it back (doesn't work). When I picked the vehicle up ythat night BOTH lights came on for about 15 seconds then the problem light went out. Anyways this was pushed to Audi Canada customer support, escalated to a Supervisor named Jad who again declined fixing it under CPO as user caused. Jad refuses to escalate the matter any further after repeated requests, says they will not change their mind and he will not escalate. He says he reports to the Customer Service Manager but will not provide any contact information. I am fully prepared to spend as much time on this issue as needed, can anyone point me in the right direction for escalation, suggestions, names etc, maybe I should just try and get to Daniel Weissland President & CEO VW Canada. I am prepared as well to hit small claims if need be.
