B6/B7 S4 V8 6-sp manual trans shift rod
This ad is for a used shift rod or "selector shaft" that connects the shifter mechanism to the transmission, complete with the articulated cross rod. It goes underneath the car, not inside the cabin!
8E0-711-151-H - Shaft (8-cylinder)
List price is $570 USD because it is unique to the 8-cylinder models

This came off my car with 130k on it and there is some play in the ball joint (< 0.5mm) so asking $75 USD (98 CAD).
It can be used as-is, refurbished with a new ball joint or salvaged for parts such as the cross rod as needed. The boot on the ball joint is fully intact, no cracks.
