After owning a 2011 Q5 2.0T for over 4 years, I've decided to purchase a new 2015 Q5 TDI. -I picked it up about a week ago..

Any Q5 TDI owners in this forum ?

 

Congrats! We picked up our 2014 Q5 TDI this summer. My wife really loves it, and I like it lots more than I expected. The torque is amazing, and the fuel economy blows my mind. We've had a couple cold days this week, the Q5 has sat outside all day while I'm at work, and it has started like a dream. I'm very impressed so far.

 

What is a new Q5 TDI worth?

Just curious.. How many Km's can you do on a full tank of gas ?

My computer displays 900km's when its on full tank and I haven't yet consumed a full tank..

A base model with no options could cost anywhere between 56-58k taxes incl.

 

We drive mostly on the highway, so that is a factor, but I go 800 - 900 km on a tank. I generally fill up before the warning comes on, so I'm usually putting 60 -65 L in when I fill up. Our overall average so far has been 7.3 L / 100 km.

On my gas cap there is an indication of ' Adblue ' do you know what this is or means.. ? Sorry i'm new to Diesel engines..

 

Adblue is an exhaust treatment to reduce emissions. It gets topped up at each service interval. If everything is working correctly, you should never have to add any. If it runs low, you get a warning on the dash.
