Default DV+ diverter valve kit?

Has anyone used this kit? My diaphragm seems to be ripped and I'm unsure if this system will fix that issue. It claims to of course, but in looking at the diagrams and drawings I can't imagine it would. Any feedback on it at all? Or can someone confirm that it will solve my problem? I feel like if the diaphragm leaks anywhere but into the center on the new system it won't solve my problem...

I happened to find a few reviews for GTI's and Golfind R's that say good things. If anyone in an A3 can comment it would be even better, although they should perform identically.
