Want my first Audi A4 B7 2.0T 2006
Hello Everybody,
I'm new to the forum and new to the Audi world.
I'm from Montreal area actually having an old Passat 2001, so still not so new to the German cars
I'm actually looking for my first Audi which probably gonna be a A4 B7 2.0T depending on the budget I have. I want to spend something like 10k$.
Any thoughts? any suggestions? anything would be welcome.

If you are looking at that model, ensure you get a pre-purchase inspection. The 2.0Ts are known to burn oil stemming from weakened piston rings. This mostly arises from the Audi 15K oil change interval....by that time, the oil is so contaminated by fuel and will eat away at seals/rings. A compression/leak down test would be highly recommended.
This is not to say every 2.0T burns oil but more of a heads up

I'm just seeing what are those rings! And found out that we can a compression test to see if the rings are fine. I'll check where can I do that test, I saw that this sould be between 160 and 220psi.

Is it possible to get like dark smoke in the exhaust it it burn oil? That can help at least to see if the car is worth testing or not!
Any thoughts?
